An MBA from Boston University, Rohit worked in Forex banking in London for 2 years before joining Contract in 1990.

Besides heading the strategic planning function for Contract nationally, Rohit leads Core Consulting, the marketing & strategic consulting division of Contract. The range of assignments for Core Consulting include brand positioning, marketing strategy & plans, portfolio planning, service benchmarking, business models, mix development, innovation & NPD projects & marketing training.

Over the years, Rohit has worked closely with clients over a wide portfolio including Cadbury, Dominos, Shoppers Stop, Asian Paints, HSBC, Marico, Franklin Templeton, Louis Philippe, NIIT, ICICI Bank & HDFC Bank.

He is on the Advisory Board of TRRAIN; a not-for-profit trust that works towards the betterment of the retail sector and Expat Properties India Limited; a group with interests in real estate, construction & engineering projects, sports & leisure and media.

He has been a guest faculty at management institutes like IIM & SP Jain and has conducted training programs for many companies including Cadbury, Marico, Dabur and HSBC, the latter across Asia Pacific. He has also published three white papers that have been awarded the Atticus Merit Certificates, the global WPP recognition for original published thinking. He has been a member of the Effies Jury in India & on the global Effies Jury.

Vineet Mahajan is one of the country’s most awarded and feted creative professionals. That’s why The Economic Times chose him as one of the ‘Hottest Young Creatives’ and he got showcased in CNBC’s ‘Young Turks’.

As Head of Art, Vineet is based in Mumbai. But as Contract’s art czar, he divides his time between all three Contract offices. A Bachelor of Fine Arts by education, Mahajan – not surprisingly – likes to see the world from an artist’s viewpoint – a canvas where everything is grist to his mill.

Vineet’s legendary hunger for metal has earned him a reputation that would do a mineralogist’s CV proud: a Gold and over 15 metals at International Advertising shows such as Cannes, One Show, Andys and Spikes, along with well over three dozen awards at Indian advertising shows.

His campaigns have featured in Communication Art, The Work, Archive, Campaign Brief Asia and The Ogilvy Red Hot Book.

In his 16 years in advertising, that includes stints at Ogilvy and McCann, Vineet has worked on a plethora of categories. Some of his famous campaigns are Nescafe- Know Your Neighbours and My First Cup, Videocon Brand Identity relaunch, Aircel 3G Upload Anything and multiple campaigns on Coke.

Jayanth helps brands take the right decision based on thorough consumer insights. With over 20 years of domain expertise in Branding, Advertising and Research across WPP network, he has worked on diverse categories spanning Consumer Durables, Banking & Finance, Retail, Telecom, Airlines, FMCG and F&B, across Indian and international markets.

Jayanth specializes in ethnography, loves to observe people, their culture, their values. Through these observations, he forms informed opinions that help him explore how brands can find a fit into people’s lives.

In his earlier assignments, Jayanth has played pivotal role in business acquisition and organic expansion. He is adept in building and handling proprietary Brand Management tools. Other aspects of his business personality include Knowledge Management, Mentoring and Training, Stake holder perception management.

When not doing business Jayanth loves to immerse himself in books, films, social media, Vedas, Upanishads, Indian mythology, Yoga which feeds his mind for the next big insight, trend and cultural code.

Jayanth is married to Jayashree, an HR strategist, heading Human Capital Management for a young growing IT enterprise. They have two wonderful boys- Jayasuryaa who is already an ethical hacker, while just in the final year of school and Scamp- their wonderful dog, who fills their lives with immense happiness and unconditional love, which nothing can replace.

Won laurels for innovative employee engagement initiatives. Has also experience in managing merger and acquisition and project management, union settlement and proficient in labour law.

Last employed with Dentsu Aegis Network, Lowe Lintas, Tata AIG, Kotak Mahindra, Esselworld & Gadgil Western Group. He is an avid reader and an outdoor person.

His passion lies in travelling new places, photography, movie, writing and solving crossword puzzles.

Media and Food to new age businesses from Mobile, Retail and E-commerce marketplace. All this has built a strong brand and marketing foundation that has been acknowledged with numerous Effies cases.

He is proud to have been a partner in fueling growth for key international brands like Nestle, Dominos, General Motors, LG, Reebok, Bata, Dulux, Metlife, Aviva
as well as nurturing domestic giants like Dabur, DLF, Orient, Droom, Jagran, NIIT, JK, Asahi, Ireo, AU Bank.

An MBA in marketing, Vigyan is a consummate marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of industry experience. He moves in from J Walter Thompson Bangalore where he was leading a group of businesses. This is a homecoming of sorts for Vigyan having worked at Contract in the early part of his career.

Vigyan brings with him his in-depth experience in communication planning and execution with a special focus on integrated marketing. He has also garnered experience in both digital and activation spaces. He has worked on several projects across a cross section of brands which has sharpened his skills in category and consumer insights and understanding of national and global trends. He brings his unique experience of having worked on both sides of the business as a marketer and as an agency professional.

Over the years, Vigyan has handled a multitude of categories like fashion retail, luxury beverages, personal care, healthcare, FMCG – foods and Industrial products. He has worked on brands like Lifestyle, Britannia, Van Heusen, Nike, ING Vysya Bank, Wipro, Black Dog, Brigade Enterprises, Sobha Developers, Himalaya Herbals, Carbon, Henkel’s Personal Care Brands-Fa (Soaps, Deodorants & Talcs) & Fa MEN and Hercules (TI Cycles), to name a few.

Vigyan is passionate about sports and outdoors with his time mostly split between playing tennis and running. Travelling and a fairly diverse interest in music across genres are his other passion.

Ishan is a digital media professional with over 14 years of experience in managing key businesses across automotive, banking, real estate, home decor, e-commerce, Travel, Hospitality and entertainment. He joins us from Interactive Avenues where he had spent over a decade, leading client relationships with Bajaj Auto, Mahindra Tractors, IDFC Bank, Karvy Group, Mahindra Finance, Colgate Palmolive, Lodha Housing, Tata Housing, Tourism Australia, Marriot Hotels, Bookmyshow, Croma, Saint Gobain and Radio Mirchi to name a few.

Ishan had also successfully managed the role of building Inter agency partnerships at Interactive Avenues. After the company’s acquisition in 2013 by IPG Mediabrands, he did a short stint with IPG at their London office. During this stint, he was responsible for leading and managing relationships between IPG Mediabrands UK and Interactive Avenues. The key relationships he managed were Microsoft, Tesco, Economist, General Mills and Hertz. Prior to Interactive Avenues, Ishan had worked with Mediaturf Worldwide wherein he handled some of their key clients like DHL, Axe and ICICI Home Loans.

Ishan holds an MBA degree in marketing and is passionate about technology, music, wildlife and fitness.
